Design Manifesto

Because designers are responsible for the work they put into the world

Inspired by the great folks at Small Technology Foundation / Ind.ie and their Ethical Design Manifesto, I've decided to commit to their statement and try to apply it in my daily practice of design, making products and services that:

  1. Respect human rights
  2. Respect human effort
  3. Respect human experience

I've decided to remove the "ethical" part of the name, because "ethical design" should not be a separate part of the design field.
Each and every designer should work ethically.

I've also decided to remix their original poster to add a few bright colors and use the Fengardo Neue and Commune Nuit Debout fonts from the talented type designers at Velvetyne.

Feel free to download the PDF and print it to spread the word!

And don't hesitate to support the Small Technology Foundation with their great mission...
